• Train Station Mons

      Project

The train station in Mons, Belgium, and its lighting were designed by Santiago Calatrava Architects. Shortly before completion, KARDORFF redesigned the canopies, the forecourt, and the ticket office.
The station is one of the larger train stations in Belgium and is conceived as a monumental bridge spanning the tracks. The Gallery stands as a connector, uniting the historic heart of the city to the south and the emerging Grand Pres district to the north.
