Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

Heiligendamm, the first and most elegant of the German seaside resorts, has picked up on its earlier tradition with the Grand Hotel. The complex atmospheres of this large area from urban – rural to public – private are underlined by the external lighting. In keeping with the very dark nocturnal atmosphere on the coast, the facades are minimally lit, as if by moonlight.

    • Atmosphere by Krallerhof

      Project

The spa and wellness facility extends the five-star Hotel Krallerhof in Leogang south of Salzburg. The central element of the design by Hadi Teherani Architects is a curved and staggered roof construction that blends gently into the landscape. An underground corridor with a spiral yard connects hotel and spa. The varied wellness offer is supplemented by a large swimming pool in a newly created natural lake. Large glass surfaces in the facade and a well thought-out network of paths allow the interior and exterior space to merge.

Our lighting design includes the entire new building indoors and outdoors, as well as the outdoor area of the existing hotel complex. The light creates a special atmosphere as well as orientation and perspectives in the building and in the nature. Subtle light accents emphasize the dynamics of the architecture and strengthen the connection between inside and outside at night.

    • Bar am Gendarmenmarkt

      Project

The red lacquered walls with the mounted glossy panels of picture size form the basic design element of the Bar am Gendarmenmarkt. The light connects these two surfaces. A light color was selected which lets the coral red of the wall glow.
Over the bar, a luminous ceiling which shimmers in a mellow red was hung down into the room.
