Highrise building on Europaplatz
Project
Directly opposite Berlin's Main-Station, the lighting design was developed and detailed in close consultation with the user KPMG. We planned the façade lighting as well as the special areas. For the foyers and the adjacent restaurant, we developed pendant luminaires that can be adjusted in intensity and light colour. The continuous arrangement connects the ground floor and avoids a visual separation of the foyer from the restaurant.
Precise wallwashers are used in the foyer and lift lobby to blend in the important walls.
Conference areas are individually and variedly lit. The rooftop bar with its black ceiling and tiny spotlights offers a reflection-free view of Berlin at night.- Building type

KPMG Optineo
Project
Optineo, designed by Nieto Sobejano, is a high-rise office building in the Werksviertel of Munich. It forms the striking entrance to the quarter and can already be seen from the Ostbahnhof station. KPMG is the sole tenant of the building complex. In addition to the atmospheric luminaires for the office areas and the lighting for the restaurants and conference areas, special luminaires were developed for the two foyers. Several polygons in the large foyer, which were produced in a double-curved form for the first time. We used virtual reality to visualize the arrangement in the room (Foto 4), giving the client the opportunity to experience the result in advance. The hemisphere in the smaller foyer doubles in the mirror ring to form a floating sphere.
