The Haus zum Falken: A project planning lasting from 2016 to 2024 – a marathon of details and changes. The building is a jewel in such an important part of the city of Zurich. The effort was worth it. Underneath the sculptural building is a bicycle garage for 800 bikes. This allows commuters to cycle straight on from the Stadelhofen train station opposite.

"Les Trois Rois is characterized by elegant classical architecture and French flair. The now completely redesigned main building on the Schifflände is inspired by French classicism while also incorporating new modern elements, such as unaccustomed combinations of materials and surprising lights and colors. Each floor is its own uniquely designed environment with rooms for public urban life and spaces for calming relaxation and intimacy for the hotel guest," says architect Jacques Herzog, founding partner of Herzog & de Meuron, about the remodeling of this historic building.

It is part of the Grand Hôtel Les Trois Rois ensemble located directly on the Rhine with suites, a spa predicated on Japanese philosophy, adaptable rooms for celebrations, conferences and banquets, as well as the BANKS restaurant and a cigar lounge, The Council. In addition to these interior areas, our lighting design also includes the new outdoor illumination of the entire Grand Hôtel ensemble. It is one of the oldest city hotels in Europe.

For the new construction of the Allianz headquarters in the Richti-Areal in Wallisellen Zurich, the ergonomics of the workstation lighting were of great importance, as was the energy efficiency of the interior illumination (“minergie”).

“Rohbau” is the name of the shop and also the style in which three high-quality outdoor brands (Icebreaker Ugg, Nau, Victorinox) are presented. The interim urban outdoor shop is to be operated for 14 months and is located in a building complex on the Europaallee.

Transa is the largest outdoor outfitter in Switzerland. In September 2012, Transa opened its flagship store with a sales area of 3,000 m² on the Europaallee directly next to Zurich’s main train station.

The Novartis Campus offers an optimal environment for innovation and research for 10,000 employees. Kardorff Ingenieure designed the lighting for the laboratory designed by Rafael Moneo in all areas except the labs.
