Extensive modernization of the former Debis building with the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Kardorff Ingenieure supervised the DGNB gold-certified project from planning to execution for the 22-storey, 106 meter-high office tower, the spectacular atrium with adjacent lobbies and entrances, as well as the new exterior illumination. Already completed in 2015, the Sky Office showroom is located on the eleventh floor.

The 800 square-meter office showroom on the eleventh floor combines direct and indirect lighting components to structure the space.
Highrise +
The custom-designed torchieres provide the lighting for the workplace, emphasize the curved ceiling panels, and lend uniformity to the appearance of the office tower from afar.

The ceiling is free of installations in the work zones. Uplights nearly flush with the facade. Uplight and downlight components can be separately regulated via motion detectors and daylight sensor technology.
Entrance +
Wall washers accentuate the lettering by the entrance. Specially designed, unusual torchieres emphasize the central axes.
Conference +
Linear pendant luminaires with two components, downlights for the pathways and torchieres nearly flat against the facade. The tabletops are lit very exactly with direct light and faces are illuminated without glare through reflection.

General lighting with downlights to create warm-toned ambient lighting (3000 Kelvin).
LED +
Energy-efficient LED technology (9W/m2) with warm-toned, uniform light color, DALI control, motion detectors and daylight sensors.
