The UCI luxe Mercedes Platz is a flagship of the new luxury cinema brand from UCI Multiplex GmbH, for which we developed a lighting master plan. A common lighting design was given to entrance zones, walking areas, hospitality areas, WCs and hall lighting. The foyer eye catcher is a bespoke solution and varies in the different cinemas.

The precisely coordinated high quality basic lighting in the lounges and floors underlines the ambition of the new cinema brand.
Decorative lighting with dynamic colour change provides a unique experience.

From the lobby in the ground floor of UCI Mercedes Platz, the view is guided to the lighting sculpture that can be seen through the glass facade. With its dynamic lighting change, it dominates the airspace between floors.
Lighting Technology:

The eyecatcher in the upper floor consists out of 80 luminaires, which can be controlled individually showing different colours. Sphere luminaires and rod luminaires are bespoke lighting products and interpretations of the master lighting concept for the UCI luxe brand.
