The Trianon is one of the highest skyscrapers in Frankfurt. Kardorff Ingenieure’s design for the ceiling and lighting shapes the new image of the building from the street facade through the lobby all the way to the elevators.
Building Type:
Office +
The luminous color of the cove lighting in the atrium changes over the course of the day to reflect the natural progression of daylight: the light begins as cool, clear white during the day and then changes to the warmer tones of evening light.
Area:
Atrium +
Lines of LED light patterned according to the building’s storeys accentuate the atrium’s structure, and spotlights provide a pleasant background brightness. A grid composed of black stripes gives the ceiling a clear structure (design by Kardorff Ingenieure).
Entrance +
Since this building is used by many thousands of people each day, great importance was given to the lighting.
Lighting Technology:
Artificial Light +
A highlight for visitors is the round chandelier of dichroitic glass elements in front of the elevators.
LED +
Integrated into channels in the ceiling, linear LED lamps and LED downlights provide the atrium with a pleasant background brightness. The luminous color automatically adjusts itself to the time of day.
