“Rohbau” is the name of the shop and also the style in which three high-quality outdoor brands (Icebreaker Ugg, Nau, Victorinox) are presented. The interim urban outdoor shop is to be operated for 14 months and is located in a building complex on the Europaallee.

The shop design is based on architectural elements and simple structures found in industry. These elements have been creatively combined into a commercial architecture and complemented with surprising details. The lighting, for which only a minimal budget was allocated, also follows this design concept.

The levels of efficiency and energy consumption are distinctly lower than the standards required in Switzerland by “Minergie”, a registered quality label. The energy consumption for the illumination of the shop is under 3 W/m².
