With a height of 355 m, the Emirates Park Tower was opened in Dubai as the world’s tallest hotel building in 2012. Offering a wide range of business facilities with more than 1,600 rooms and 14 restaurants, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel will become one of the region’s most desirable destinations for the most discerning of travelers.
Along with the illumination of the facades and exterior areas, we designed the lighting for all of the interior public spaces.
Hotel Room +
Together with the interior designer, lwdesign group, we developed lighting strategies for the different room categories.
The conference facility within the hotel, with an area of approximately 750 m2, has two ballrooms and 24 flexible meeting rooms with outside terraces.
One of the highlights is the multifunctional ballroom, which is one of the largest in the region. The illumination was also designed to be flexible in order to suit different purposes. Motorized recessed luminaires that swivel and luminaires with adjustable luminous colors were utilized here.
A crystalline structure forms the building’s pinnacle for which we designed a lighting concept with moving-head spotlights.
Artificial Light +
The top priority was to create the appropriate atmosphere inside this 5-star hotel. Many little details regarding the lighting underscore the first-class nature of the interior design.
