The Circle desk lamp was developed exclusively for BMW. With its handle of hand-sewn leather and casing in a cooling fins look, the lamp cites elements of motorcycle design. Analogous to the motorcycle, which embodies the most individual form of

With its obvious components, the Circle desk lamp is used intuitively like a motorcycle. The visual tasks performed by the engineers do not all take place on the desk’s surface, so a ball and socket joint allows for rotation in all directions.

Through asymmetrical light distribution, the Circle illuminates the working surface from the edge and occupies little space itself.
