Urban Space +
Illumination of the new Bürgerpark, the historic Tübinger Gate with its gatehouses, as well as the foyer and facade of the civic center.
The civic center is illuminated from the inside outwards. The “crown” with its bronze-like metal facade is emphasized by external spotlights and reinforces the horizontal pattern of both structures.
Outline of the axis between the Bürgerpark and historic city: Light poles at the height of the tree tops form a line with the lower part of the civic center. They compliment the grid of planted beds, illuminate the pathways in a targeted manner and protect the natural meadows along the small river Echaz.
Artificial Light +
Exterior: Light poles with adjustable heads that are integrated into the pathway and plaza lighting, supplemented by ground lights and roof-top spots on the historic gate. Civic center: Uplights and linear lights illuminate the crown and foyer.
All luminaires are equipped with LED technology in a warm luminous color (3,500 K) and can be centrally regulated.
